Monitoring



As established by rules in force, before beginning of the bathing season a monitoring program is fixed by special calendar. The sampling is executed not over the fourth day after the date indicated in the monitoring calendar. The sampling executed over the fourth day must be justified to the Health Ministry and to the European Community through special documentation certifying ARPA Molise wasn't be able to execute the sampling in the times and in the ways established by rules in force. In each site of monitoring network the drawing point is located where is forecasted the larger bathers crowd or where the pollution risk is higher.

The sampling modality are clearly defined in the attachment D of D.M. 30/03/2010.
The drawings are done in the sea band normally used by bathers, at about 30 cm of depth and at a distance from shore-line where sounding-depth is between 80 and 120 centimetres.
The sampling is done between hours 9:00 to 16:00. The activity is the drawing of a water aliquot necessary to determine the microbiologic parameters and the survey of some weather-sea parameters to be recorded on appropriate report:
