Molise Region, according with DLgs 116/08, has decided the profiles of bathing waters. An identity card where all information are grouped:

• The monitoring results;
• The evaluation of cyanobacterial, macroalgae and phytoplankton proliferation;
• The updated classification of the waters;
• Eventual bathing prohibition;
• Foreseeing of pollution having short duration and it’s management;
• Location of the sampling point.

The profiles update of the bathing waters must be realized considering the classification of each bathing area. In particular, in consideration that the bathing waters result as quality "excellent", the profiles have to be revised only if its classification passes to "good", "sufficient" or "poor". In all other cases exists a minimal revision frequency to respect:

• Almost every 4 years when the waters are classified “good”;
• Almost every 3 years when the waters are classified “sufficient”;
• Almost every 2 years when the waters are classified “poor”.
